Y–21 (Youth for 21st Ministry)
In the month of February, God gave IGL an opportunity to conduct Y-21 training throughout seven different regions under the Vision-2000 Movement. A team from IGL traveled extensively to conduct the regional leaders’ training. Nearly 1,000 leaders took part in the training and in turn dedicated themselves to the task of implementing training for others so that India's youth may be reached for Christ. The trainings were very effective for all the youth and the church pastors who participated. Many youth leaders from different churches came together for these sessions and all responded to the call before them.

I attended this youth training by the grace of God. I really learned many effective lessons about youth ministry. Not only that, I was really moved to do His ministry amidst the youth in my church during the time of preaching. Accordingly I committed myself fully to Jesus to do His ministry amidst the youth. I am really thankful to Jesus for bringing me over here and helping me to make this new decision in order to do His ministry.
By the grace of God I was able to attend this youth training. In the devotion itself, I realized how to grow in the knowledge of God as well as how to be a living witness in the days of the youth. And I learned the responsibilities of the youth leaders both in the church and the society through group discussion. Through the rest of the sessions I learned many lessons that would be really helpful for me to do His ministry effectively.
As I attended this youth training happiness filled my heart. Through all the teaching in this training I learned many effective lessons about youth ministry. While learning all these effective lessons I was moved by the Holy Spirit to do the youth ministry. Accordingly, at the time of closing prayer I placed myself in His hands and committed to do youth ministry. I surely believe that God will use me mightily amidst the youth in the days to come. I am really thankful to God for this effective Y-21 training that gave me new vision in my life.

- Praise God for strengthening Indian staff conducting these trainings in different regions in Andrapradesh.
- Praise God for blessing the staff with safe travel throughout their trips.
- Praise God for bringing the youth for these trainings as was hoped and helping them understand the real concept of Y-21 movement.
- Pray for the Y-21 program that it would change the lives of many youths both in India and in SriLanka in the days to come.
- Pray for the president of the Vision 2000 movement that God will use him mightily wherever he goes for ministry purposes.
- Pray for the Y-21 team members that God would use them mightily wherever the Y-21 training sessions are held.
- Pray for the Y-21 regional leaders that they will enthusiastically engage in youth ministry.
