On December 1st and 2nd of last year, 14 of IGL’s children’s homes participated in the 7th Annual StarFest, a competition hosted by the IGL Childcare Department for children’s homes during the Christmas season. Every year there is a Christmas related theme, around which the competition and festivities are centered. The children compete in the following activities: singing, Scripture memory, speech, dance, drama, drawing, poetry, and Bible quiz. The NAIC General Assembly met at Sharon Gardens in November for a time of pastor training, corporate prayer for the ministry and vision of India Gospel League, prayer for the teams of barefoot pastors, prayer for the rural villages of India, pastor dedications and commissionings, and a time of warm fellowsip among these committed men and women who are bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to villages throughout India! It was a time of reflection and challenge, as the Vision 2000 goals were reviewed and discussed.
