At times, the depth of poverty reaches so far, and the circumstances are so dire, that a family is barely able to survive within the structure they may be using for a home. Often, a family of 4 or more may be living in a leaky hut that is barely larger than a closet. In these cases, IGL works with the village leadership to select those who need special assistance and provide a safe, stable home in which to live.
